Yorktown is 45 minutes from Norfolk, 1 1/4 hours from Richmond and 2 3/4 hours from Washington, DC
The Inn is at 209 Ambler Street in Yorktown, easily found just west of U.S. Route 17 on a high bluff on the south side of the York River.
From Interstate 64 from the East:
Take Exit 250B (Yorktown/Fort Eustis Boulevard) to Route 17 North. It's a funny intersection--you come off the interstate to a stoplight--then you turn left---then immediately turn right onto Fort Eustis Boulevard. Route 17 is about 3 miles. Turn left on Route17 North, and proceed about 4 miles. You will not cross the bridge.
From Interstate 64 from the West:
Take Exit 242B Marquis Center Parkway
Proceed 1 1/2 miles to the Colonial Parkway toward Yorktown. Go 8 miles to Route 17 North. You'll turn right onto Rt. 17 North. Proceed about one half mile, and get in the left lane right away. You will not cross the bridge.
From the South on Route 17:
Turn left at Last Exit Before Toll (Mathews Street/1001) toward the Yorktown Victory Center. Turn right immediately onto Ambler Street. The Inn is directly ahead one block through brick gateposts. Park on the circle and step up to the front porch.
From Williamsburg:
Follow the Colonial Parkway to Route 17 North and use directions above.
From north of the York River:
Take Route 17 South. Just after crossing the Coleman Bridge, turn right onto Mathews Street. Turn right immediately onto Ambler Street. The Inn is directly ahead one block through brick gateposts. Park on the circle and step up to the front porch.
